Choi, Jiwoo to leave for language study... Trip to US next month
Late this September, hanryu star, Choi, Jiwoo, will fly to US for her English language study.
In a recent interview with Stoo, a representative of Choi, Jiwoo's management company revealed, "Taking a break after the shooting of 'Everyone Has a Secret', Choi, Jiwoo will attend the 'Winter Sonata' commemoritive concert as a guest, which will be held in Japan on September. Afterwards, she will leave for language study in the US." He/she added, "There is no concrete plan, yet, but it will likely be sometime late this September." According to this source, Choi, Jiwoo will study in the US for one or two months. Currently, they are in the process of choosing among the many language courses available in New York and LA universities.
The reason for this abrupt plan to study English was because she found proficient language skills a necessity in order to develop in to a world star.
With successful entry in to the Japanese market, there were rumours that Choi, Jiwoo will soon be in a Hollywood project. However, they requested "more time to be put in to language skills than acting skills."
