Since junior high school I considered Audrey Hepburn the loveliest actress in the world, and I thought that there would never be anyone to compare to her. Then, last year, we watched "Winter Ballad," and saw how special Choi Ji-woo is. We then watched "Beautiful Days," and "Stairway to Heaven," and our admiration for her only deepened. Choi Ji-woo is, like Audrey Hepburn, a very beautiful and fine actress, but what distinguishes the two of them from other beautiful, talented actresses is something much rarer than mere beauty and acting talent: Audrey Hepburn and Choi Ji-woo both possess a graciousness and charm that is swan-like (the Swan of the ballet), a loveliness and charisma that is felt by the viewers of their works: it's like a touch of divinity. Choi Ji-woo and Audrey Hepburn both both inspire kindness, gentleness, and goodness in the viewers. That is quite something, when you think about it. I think that this special quality of Choi Ji-woo will eventually be recognized by the world, just as the special quality of Audrey Hepburn is recognized.
