I'm an avid fan of Ji Woo from U.S.A. I'll support her in all her project because she's a great actress & she's an initiator of the S. Korean Wave that conquered Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China & other parts of the world. S. Korean people should be grateful to her because she's bringing good business to S. Korea & she's concern about the people of S. Korea (very charitable, humble & religious). She's S. Korea's best export that helps S. Korean economy.

Rating is according to perception of viewers.
Most importantly is the reality. Did CJW really grow as an actress or her acting skill remain stagnate at "sobbing queen" level.

Based on Bolt's observations, CJW needs to think, rationalize and understand the character(s) that she seeks to potray better. At the level of she potraying Mari, it is only at a very superficial level, or rather Mari is indeed a rather shallow superstar. If it is the case, Bolt is questioning why CJW decides to take up this role?

Ji Woo Ssi, don't fret about the ratings. They were not a representative of a good drama or a good performance by the actors. We love you and Star's Lover is an AWESOME drama that I have seen in a long time. I know that you have MANY supporters outside of South Korea that are willing to support you faithfully. You should check out Star's Lover Soompi forum to observe how many people are enjoying the intricacy of the drama. You've delivered outstanding performance and deserves an applaud.

The many faces of Mari that CJW trying to potray did not add value to her existing acting skilss. It merely bring out the character of an empty head with beautiful face. Remember, beauty will eventually fade away with time ie. getting older. CJW needs to evolve as an actress, she needs to find a character that she can grasps in depth, not jumping from one outfit to another. The impression I have on Star's Lover is that CJW is acting like a babie doll, who kept changing clothers. Totally lack of substance and depth to her own stature!! Sigh!

99.999999% of people here are enjoying the drama ^^
this drama is a special present to all of us
we wait it for a long time and......
this drama is worth waiting such a longer time

I have watched ep.1-4...I really like its feel...the tempo is quick, like watching a love movie...
then I found the PD, and all staff worked very hard with the actresses/actors so far...and waht they have worked in the past 2 months only contributed to a few episodes...oh no...
it is really a different korean drama style...maybe too quick and new to the majority korean drama views that I heard that the viewing rate is not satisfactory.

To me and fans for korean dramas, and esp for our beloved Jiwoo ssi...we found her working hard to present to us so many roles as movie star or TV drama stars before us...and those scenes only appeared for a moment and then gone....
That is why I said this TV drama series (the 1-4 episodes) gave us the feel ...very enriched and beautiful sceneries and Jiwoo's scenes as movie stars in different styles in different movies....very interesting and fulfilling to Jiwoo'sfans...and the storyline is new and of course created and based on "Notting Hill" but in an asian style.

We long for the coming episodes...don't get disappointed by the viewing rate...this is kind of innovative from the usual korean TV drama style...dragging too much on the childhood and youth days ....and of course telling a story must start from the very begining, and how this movie star has emerged during these 10 years...and I am excited to see the story was presented very well...and how to shape the main actress and actor's character..up here...waiting for next week...will go into more details then...!!!
