Exclusive interview of Ji Woo by "Pop Stars"
On 9/27, a beautiful and sunshine afternoon, the reporter met Jiwoo at one café along Shanghai’s Ling-Yang Boulevard. After taking some pictures, Jiwoo ordered a cup of coffee and put into two bags of sugars. Isn’t she worried about gaining weight? During the interview, she took a look the magazines on the table. Since almost half of the magazine cover the Korean stars, Jiwoo can easily point out who are they in the pictures such as “Kang Ta”, “Lee BH”, and “Sung Hui Gao” etc. but when she turned to Bae Yung June page, she did not pay much attention and quickly turned into next page. But later the reporter noticed that she sneak back to BYJ’s page to take another look.

Q) Is this your first trip to Shanghai? What was your impression of Shanghai before you came?
A) Yes, Cha In Pyo and Ahn Jae Wook told me before that Shanghai is a modern city and I should not have any difficulties. So I was not worried at all. I also did not know there are so many high rise buildings in Shanghai until I came. Shanghai is very clean and its night view is extremely pretty.
Q) In your dramas, you have played so many lovely roles. Which role is more like you?
A) I am not that lovely, actually I am opposite. Do you remember the High School YuJin in Winter Sonata? That one is more like me.
Q) Beautiful Days is broadcasted now in Shanghai. In this drama, two leading actors, LBH and RSW are totally different persons. In real life which one you will choose?
A) Half from each one would be the best. LBH is very man and RSW is very kind and sensitive to women.
Q) Among all the actors you played with, which one you are most impressed?
A) Ahn Jae Wook
Q) Why Ahn Jae Wook? Was there any special event being occurred?
A) I am actually having very special feeling towards each actor I have played with. But I feel Ahn Jae Wook like he is my brother. He and I were into entertainment field almost at the same time. He always helps me when I have needs.
Q) Can you say something about Bae Yung June?
A) He is very kind, sensitive and will take care everybody in real life. In Winter Sonata, there are many crying scenes, I was very impressed that BYJ can cry very naturally, not many male actors can do it, which showed that he must put lots of feeling/emotion into this drama. In my opinion, he is very professional.
