Thanks, Alexmom. Agree with Jennifer, what an incredible schedule! Why now for news conference since the drama of "101" won't be aired until next March? I also read many times on the net that in November JW would go to Japan to promote "Beautiful Days" for NHK. Poor JW, hope after finish all these extra duties, she could concentrate on "Stairs to Heaven".

Good to hear that CJW is busy. Get the most done in 2004, 2005 can be planned for something else, despite both years being the extremely prosperous year for CJW (60 year cycle peak for 2004 and 2005)

Just a quick calculation, on gross term (before tax and sharing with her agency firm), it is estimated that CJW is likely to earn up to US$1.5 million for this year alone. Not bad for a 28-year old (it is equivalent to some professionals 10 years income) ^____^ I guess, being a "Panda" temporarily is justifiable, don't you all think so? (c.f. the per capita income in South Korea is about US$20,000)...way above the national average

Jiwoo did make more money for filming "101" than "Stairs". Perhaps that is because "101" is targetted for international audience. but who knows it may be just the "Panda" effect as Casper said.

Sorry Alexmon. I think you misunderstood me on the "Panda" effect. What I meant by Panda is that of the dark ring around her eyes due to lack of sleep.

Hehe...I have her profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement drawn up long time ago :) It is not a new appointment :)

How much per eps she paid in Stairs in Heaven ? Any confirm ? I heard the highest paid was Lee young ae than a young actress i cant remember her name.
For International drama, i believe she's the most highest paid, right..

Too sensitive to reveal the entire financial statements on the internet. You just have to slowly accumulate the data/information from various published sources.

It is not rocket science, by adding and deducting, you will get the sum. The assumptions you need to build are royalty income (for conservatism assumed "zero" and 20% margin of error) and the split between CJW and her agency firm. It is definitely much easier to compute her balance sheet than the four pillars of destiny :)

I also have the golden pig's financial statement drawn up. It looks like CJW is clearly in a better financial position than her golden pig as at today..hehe!

Hi Cpt, there are inflow and there are also outflow. Remember some months back, the Golden Pig has a major outflow of cash due to some disputes :) When it comes to financial position, I look at the net assets value (net of assets after all liabilities and contingent liabilities) individually.

After the Fengshui and I-Ching series, it now looks like I am starting another series on Financial Planning...hehe

It has been reported that the Golden Pig has detached from his agency firm. In this regards, going on a "star-sole proprietorship" approach appears to be a tactical move. However, it also means that he will likely to face bigger business risk if not manage with due care and diligence.

However, if it is managed properly, the Golden Pig's net assets value is likely to exceed CJW by the second quarter 2004.
