Guys, Jiwoo's not just a sad hero-like kind of actress. Do you want proof? If any of you have ever seen WLS, what do we see? We see a dancing Jiwoo during her highschool years! Did you see how bright she was?
And what about Mr. Duke too? She played a high-classed woman in this drama. Sort of like a princess. She did a great job in that!
What's wrong with Stairs of Heaven? She did a tremendous job in that. Jiwoo has a gift in acting guys and what makes it even better is her personality.
I don't think anyone could act as good as she did in WLS or in Stairs of Heaven.
Every single character she played in her past dramas were all differant. And they all became a success because her acting was really good.

i DEFINITELY agree with you. Jiwoo is soo.....ooo good in her expressions! The mischievious look, the young and chirpy, the satisfied, the scowl, the surprise, the shock, the melancholic, the elegant,.......... you named it, she has it.
There was another drama that she acted with JangDongGun where she acted as a spoilled rich girl wanting her own way and was humbled. Another in which she acted with AnhJaeWook, she acted as weird character, studious, very Complex feeling inside, uttering very few words, yet you know what is trying to express. What about Truth, she has a strong character there too standing up against the rich girl with that fierce, threatening and menacing look to make that girl confess to Ryusiwon's mom that she plot. i was trying to get the movie, President who plays the piano, where i understand it is a comedy.
Just because she has been very SUCCESSFUL in her recent drama from Beautiful days, WLS and Stairways which requires characters her to act sad and she gave such NATURAL AND EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE that it become imprinted in viewers' mind. I will say that NOBODY CAN CARRY THESE ROLES AS WELL AS JIWOO!! I will say the success of all these dramas is definitely attributable to Jiwoo(even the PD from WLS say so).....she DRAWS YOU INTO HER CHARACTERS AND MAKE YOU FEEL WITH HER IN EVERY SENSE.
Those who judge her acting, should watch her other dramas/films so that they give a more objective views of JW's acting skills.

arielle, you analyzed well!! Let us all continued to support JW. I really dont know what is going on but if those critics thinks JW's acting is not good enough , then tell them to put themselves in her shoes and act it out! In any drama, it is the stroyline that calls for the characters and not the other way!!

What i want to say is...in some free forum, there's so many CJW hater who says such thing...they forget that Jiwoo has a big big support in every drama she's in. WLS, Truth, BD n now Stairs To Heaven. Without her the drama will not as biggest as now.
People also said that she's lack of expression. Well...acting is not about screaming or overreact...
When i saw Jiwoo's acting i can feel what she feel wether that's a happy, sad, mad or funny fm her facial expression, esp her eyes n her lips...n i dont feel this way fm any other actress..that's why she's my all time favourite actress...
